Meijer Polak was a son of Levie Polak and Grietje Slap. He married 18 January 1928 in Amsterdam to Louisa Davidson, daughter of Abraham Davidson and Elisabeth van Brink.
His other siblings, who also were killed during the Holocaust were Klaartje, Hijman, Rebecca, Abraham and Esther.
