Jacob Deutz was the son of Levie Deutz and Femmetje Vet. He was first married to Hanna van Beem. from this marriage three children were born: Levie Jacob Deutz, 489211 and 489210. The couple got divorced in 1939. In 1942 Jacob Deutz got married again. His second wife survived the war.
In February 1944 Jacob Deutz moved to the Joodse Invalide at Weesperplein 1.
