Kaatje Leuiken was a daughter of Abraham Leuiken and Alida Dias Santilhano. She married 17 April 1912 to Abraham Schelvis, son of Mozes Schelvis and Marianne Wurms, but who passed away already on 15 December 1928, 38 years old.
The couple had two daughters together: Marianne and Alida.
