About Louis Frank

The Deventer police commissioner requested that Louis Frank be located, detained and brought to trial. He was suspected of having changed his place of residence without obtaining the required authorization. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding.

Louis Frank came from Bochum (Germany) to Deventer in 1931. He was a warehouse clerk and a member of an organization that strived for an autonomous territory for Jewish refugees.
