Meijer Max (Jo) Mot was a member of the AJC to the backbone. He was a fine man. He went into hiding in Laren, where he was betrayed and arrested by the SD on 30 September 1943. From the Hollandsche Schouwburg he was transported to Westerbork on 9 October 1943.
