Grietje Speijer was a daughter of Mozes Speijer and Sara Halberstadt. She married in Amsterdam on 14 December 1905 to Kalman Walvis, son of Levie Walvis and Judik Cohen de Korte. Kalman passed away in Apeldoorn on 2 March 1938.
Grietje and Kalman had 5 children together of which Judic survived the Holocaust and Mozes has died in childhood. Levie, Jacob who lived at other addresses and Mozes, who lived with his partents, have been killed during the war.
