Levie Goudeketting was a son of Alexander Goudeketting and Elisabeth Cohen Bromet. He married 18 November 1936 in Amsterdam to Judith Locher, a daughter of Levie Locher and Rachel Plas. Levie had two other siblings, Jacob and Bloeme, who were also killed during the Holocaust.
