Hartog Hoogstraal, a son of Salomon Hoogstraal and Carolina Bernard, married 28 June 1933 in Amsterdam to Alida Vreeland, a daughter of Levie Vreeland and Sara Blitz.
Beside he self, also his siblings have been killed during the Holocaust: Geertje, Paulina Jansje, Grietje Schoontje, Abraham and the still at home living Ephraim and Simon.
