Mozes Abram was a son of Marcus Abram and Anna van Dam. He married 5 April 1911 in Amsterdam to Hendrina Rootveld, a daughter of Abraham Rootveld and Clara Ossendrijver.
Mozes was born in a famfily with five children, of whom his sisters Jetje and Saartje have passed away before the war. But both his siblings, Barend and Karels have been killed during the Holocaust.
