Jette Israëls lived at E 42 Hoofdstraat in Visvliet (town of Grijpskerk) with her brother Salomon Israëls. Jette was in hiding at the Rooms-Katholieke Ziekenhuis (Roman Catholic hospital) in Groningen. She was picked up from there and deported to Auschwitz via Westerbork.
