Juda Wurms was a son of Abraham Wurms and Femmetje Verdoner. He married 16 September 1914 in Amsterdam to Rebecca Volgel, daughter of Isaac Vogel and Trijntje Lubig.
His siblings were Branca, Barend, Mozes, Meijer en Hartog. His twinbrothers Joseph and Hijman have died as babies and also his brother Philip passed away before the war.
