About Louis Hoepelman

Louis Hoepelman was a schoolteacher. He lived in Amsterdam. Louis Hoepelman was married. He was involved in the resistance for the Dutch Communist Party (CPN). His resistance duties included printing and distributing the underground paper De Waarheid and putting up posters. Louis Hoepelman was caught in Amsterdam on 18 November 1942 and held at the house of detention on the Amstelveenseweg. From there he was deported to Auschwitz via Westerbork.
