In July 1937 Clara Santcroos stayed over at theDe Winter family in Tiel. Henriette de Winter-Polak was a good friend of Clara's younger sister Fie. On a card, sent by Robert de Winter to his grandfather Salomon Polak, Staalkade 5 II in Amsterdam, Clara Santcroos wrote a few words: 'Greetings to grandpa. I was given no lines, Clara.
