Benjamin Rodrigues Garcia was a son of Elias Rodrigues Garcia and Rachel Leeda. He married 2 July 1919 in Amsterdam Aaltje Rootveld, a daughter of Abraham Rootveld and Clara Ossendrijver. The couple had two children, who both have survived the war, just like their mother Aaltje.
Benjamin was born in a family with seven children: heself, Rachel, Mozes, Hanna, Rika, Rebecca and Clara. They have been killed all during the Holocaust.
