Louis Cohen was a son of Joel Cohen and Saartje Zwaap. He married 10 June 1937 in Monnickendam to Johanna Cohen, a daughter of Mozes Cohen and Kaatje Pront.
In 1939 their daughter Sonja Kitty was born.
Louis had another brother Heiman, who also have been killed during the Holocaust//.
