Jozeph de Leeuwe was a dealer in bicycles. He started a business in 1912 on Sassenstraat 64. In 1925 the trade moved to Melkmarkt 6 and was expanded with 'radios and electrical applicances’. In 1936 surséance of payment was given for a short time. In accordance with § 7 VO 48/1941 (Nazi regulation to remove Jews from the trade and industry) the company was liquidated in December 1941 and dissolved in September 1942.
