Jonas Slier and Anna Plas had two children who both lived elsewhere.
Their son Louis did not survive the war. Jonas Slier and Anna Plas owned a stand on the Nieuwmarkt in Amsterdam and sold textile and jewellery.

Jonas Slier was a member of the gymnastics association Spartacus in Amsterdam. He took part in the 1908 Olympics in London as a gymnast.
