Henriette Sophia Carolina Clarisse van Lier was a daughter of Jacob van Lier (1835) and Francisca Leonora Enthoven . She married Adolf Simon Enthoven (1862).

Henriette Sophia Carolina Clarisse Enthoven-van Lier was deported to Theresienstadt. After the liberation she travelled to Mont Pelerin (Vaud) in Switzerland, where she passed away on 21 July 1945 while packing her suitcase in anticipation to her return to the Netherlands. Her ashes are interned in the family grave in Bosch en Duin. Additonal details can be found in P. H. van Enthoven, Kroniek van het geslacht Enthoven (Zutphen 1991).
