Johan Frederik Ernst Belinfante had a law degree. He lived in The Hague, where he was the deputy director of the ANP. He did the newscast during the Nazi invasion in May 1940. The Nazis held him responsible for the reports about the disguises of parachutists. Johan Frederik Ernst Belinfante was deported to Buchenwald via the prison at Scheveningen, Düsseldorf and Dachau.
