Salomon Stuiver was previously married to Rebecca Franschman. They had six children, among whom Frederik and Elisabeth.

The first wife of Salomon Stuiver passed away in 1939. He fled from the Netherlands to Belgium at the start of the war. At the end of 1941 he wished to return to the Netherlands but got a fatal heart attack on 15 December. Four of his children survived the war. See for further information Joods Monument Zaanstreek.
