Jansje Park was a daughter of Jozef Park and Sara Polak. She married Isaac Voorzanger on 5 Mei 1909 in Rotterdam, a son of Joseph Voorzanger and Heintje Springer. The couple had nine children, who were born in Belgium and in Rotterdam. From those nine children, presumably four might have survived the Holocaust. However not Abraham, Selina, Esther, Elisabeth and Emanuel; they have been deported from Mechelen to Auschwitz with various transports and have been killed there.
Jansje Park, just as her husband Isaac Voorzanger, has been too deported from Mechelen to Auschwitz with Convoy VIII, departing 8 September 1942 and arriving in Auschwitz on 10 September 1942. From the 1000 persons of this convoy, the SS killed the same day of arrival mainly women and children. It is therefore possible that Jansje Park was killed there upon arrival, however her official date of death is made out as 11 September 1942.
