About Jonas Scholte

Jonas Scholte was a son of Hijman Scholte and Leentje van Beem. He was married to Sara van den Berg, who probably has survived the war.
Jonas Scholte was deported on 24 October 1942 with Convoy XV from Mechelen (B) to Auschwitz and most likely killed immediately upon arrival.
Jonas Scholte had another brother Joseph, who was married to Judith Sluijzer. She was killed during the Holocaust but Joseph survived the war and remarried in 1951.
