Jeannette de Winter was a daughter of Nathan de Winter and his second wife Sara Korper. Jeannette had two half-sisters from the first marriage of her father: Heintje and Helena, who was married in Transit Camp Westerbork to Maurice Plukker.
From her first marriage with Samuel Visjager, her mother had a son David Visjager.
