Abram Sija Zwartverwer was a son of Emanuel Zwartverwer and Reichl Strus. Since 16 August 1940 he lived in Apeldoorn.
Three brothers and one sister, who have been killed also during the Holocaust were Samuel, the still at home living Raphael and Louis and Catharina.
