About Wolfgang Maas

The mayor of Winterswijk requested that Wolfgang Maas, a painter residing in Winterswijk, be located, detained and brought to trial. He was suspected of having changed his place of residence without the required authorization. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding. Identifying characteristics: 'About 5'7" tall, dark hair, brown eyes, ordinary nose, does not appear Jewish, speaks good Dutch.'
