Esther Rodrigues was a daughter of Salomon Cohen Rodrigues and Margaretha Soesman. She married 5 September 1912 to Nathan Maandag, son of Salomon Maandag and Judith de Hartogh. Their son Salomon did not survive the Holocaust too.
The husband of Esther Maandag-Rodrigues fled to Belgium and survived the war.
