Joseph vieyra was a son of Jacob vieijra and Margaretha Monnikeendam. He married 9 August 1911 in Amsterdam to Vrouwtje de Rosa, a daughyter of Joachim de Rosa and Sara Beer. The couple had four chldren: one daughter who survived the war, the here mentioned Marianna and Jacob and Sara, who wa married and lived somewhere else.
Joseph was born in a family with seven children, of whom one brother survived the war and one brother passed away before the war. His other siblings.like Marianne, Abraham, Mozes and Simon, have been killed too during the Holocaust.
