Marcus Alexander Lezer was the son of Meijer Lezer and Saartje Engers. He was first married to Frouktje van Zand, from whom he later got divorced. In 1921 Marcus Alexander Lezer got married to Grietje Johanna van Delft, daughter of Filippus van Delft and Salomina Trompetter.
