Sara van Rooijen was the widow of Salomon Rodrigues and (second marriage) of Mozes Polak (1867-1930). She lived with her husband and his sons from a prior marriage, David Mozes Polak (b. 23-07-1904) and Levi Moses Polak (b. 9-10-1907), in Deventer. The couple cooperated with the oldest son in running a secondhand shop in Deventer. After her husband passed away, Sara moved to Amsterdam, where the younger son lived with his family.
