Aaltje la Balance was a daughter of Jonas la Balance and Betje Cohen. She married in Amsterdam on 4 May 1910 to Hartog de Wolff, son of Emanuel de Wolff and Jansje Dribbel. However, since November 1934 both are living at different addresses: Hartog de Wolff is living sincethen at Roompotstraat 22 I in Amsterdam.
The couple had a daughter Jeanette.
