Barend Kroonenberg married Rachel Worms in 1904 in Amsterdam. They had nine children: Reintje, Juda, Marcus (who died at a young age in 1907), a child that presumably survived the war, Philip, Joseph, Heintje Hendrika, Salomon and Elza. Since October 1940 he lived separately from his spouse.
