Levie Wins was a son of Joseph Leendert Wins and Judic Korthoef. He married in Amsterdam on 12 October 1898 to Esther de Jong, daughter of Hartog de Jong and Hanna Rijksman.
On the 16th of October his wife Esther gave birth to a son named Joseph, who died however already in October 1900.
In February 1941, Esther de Jong lived apart from her husband Levie at Nieuwe Amstelstraat 18 II.
