'Dear everybody,
As you know, it has happened. I am at the Schouwburg. Could you send me a cap and a hat for auntie. God bless you. Talk about other things with Mr. Rubens. Regards.'

Levie Bonn was a diamond worker. The last address of the family Bonn was Paardenkraalstraat 2 III. After his arrival in Westerbork Levie Bonn could write one postcard to a relative. He writes: ‘We are allowed to write once in two weeks, so this is the first one. We may receive without limits. About our experiences here we will write later. They are of interest although I hope you will never have to experience these things’.
The postcard is dated 15 April 1943.
