Emanuel van Amerongen was deported on 28 October 1944 from Auschwitz to Stutthof and on 17 November 1944 from there to Hailfingen, an auxiliary camp of concentration camp Natzweiler-Struthof. It is possible this date is different from the official day of death as established after the war by the Department of Justice.
