The Hengelo police commissioner requested as instructed by the Sicherheitspolizei that David Frank be located, detained and brought to trial. 'Of Jewish blood', he resided at 52 Molenstraat in Hengelo. David Frank was suspected of having violated the prohibitions for Jews. In October 1942 the Hengelo police commissioner requested again that David Frank be located. He was suspected of having changed his place of residence without the required authorization. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding.
