Rachel Polak was a daughter of Alexander Hijman Polak and Aaltje Bross. She married Salomon Mok, her 2nd degree cousin in Haarlem on 4 December 1901, son of Philip Mok and Paulina Mok. From this marriage, their son Philip was born in 1902.
Salomon Mok however, passed away in Haarlm on 18 August 1915, and six years later, on 7 September 1921 Rachel remarried in Arnhem to Levie de Wollf, religious teacher, born in Tiel, a son of Jozeph de Wolff and Mijntje Levison. Levie passed away before the war, on 11 August 1936 in Groenlo.
