Sophia Kiek-Salomons was the widow of Herman Kiek, who died on 23 December 1932. The couple had three children. Sophia Kiek-Salomons lived alone at 3 Elzelaan in Rijswijk (South Holland). In April 1943 she was deported via Westerbork. At Westerbork she was forced to surrender several items of jewelry. The children of Sophia Kiek-Salomons survived the war.
The archive of the Stichting Sieraden-Comité contains correspondence, a list of the items of jewelry stolen, a report from the damage investigation committee and a statement of the right to inheritance from 1960.
