In 1905 Andries Keizer was employed at the Jewish Community Rotterdam as a teacher and later as the second chazzan and baäl koree. He was also a mohel. In March 1932 he celebrated the fact that he was 25 years mohel. Around that time he had 2000 boys circumcised or as he joked “did make the Caesarean to them” (in Dutch his surname ‘Keizer’ means Caesar).
