Saul Alexander Emanuel Polak was a son of Alexander Emanuel Polak and Saartje Vis. He married in Amsterdam on 11 June 1930 to Mietje van Gelderen, daughter of Moses van Gelderen and Catharina Polak. The couple had two children: Ciska Betty and Alex Emanuel.
