Abraham de Leeuw was a son of Eliazer de Leeuw and Ester de Jong. He had four other sisters: Johanna, Vogeltje, Aaltje and Roosje.
Abraham married on 4 December 1895 in Amsterdam to Schoontje Polak, daughter of David Manus Polak and Carolina Barend Roe.
