About Gerson Izaks

Gerson Izaks was the eldest son of Eliazar Izaks and Henriëtte Izaks-Glaser. He had two brothers and a sister: Salomon Albert, Saartje Henriëtte and David Eduard. The family lived at 83 Voorstraat in Woerden. Gerson Izaks reached Vught concentration camp with the rest of his family on 22 April 1943. On 2 July 1943 he was deported to Westerbork with his father and his brother Salomon Albert. They were taken from there to Sobibor on 6 July 1943, where they were killed on 9 July 1943.
