Lea Pais was the daughte of Benjamin Pais and Alida Altenberg. She was married to Hartog Juda de la Penha. The couple had nine children: Hendrika, Rebecca (died at a young age), Margaretha, Esther, David, Benjamin, Abraham and two children who survived the war.
