Isaac Stokvis was a son of Joseph Stokvis and Rebecca Barend. He married Judik Barend, daughter of Mozes Barend and Eva Metz on 29 December 1921 in Amsterdam. She passed away there on 6 December 1937. On 28 January 1942 he married Regina Beesemer, daughter of Karel Beesemer and Elisabeth de Leeuw in Amsterdam. He was a sales representative for sponges and chamois leather.
