Lea Akker was the youngest daughter of Louis Akker and Hendrika van der Wijk. She lived in Hoogeveen with her parents. After her parents got divorced in the mid twenties, she was raised with other relatives.
Lea Akker was a resident housekeeper with the Van der Horst family.
