Of Aron Slager remains a document issued by the Jewish Council confirming his registration on payment of the course cost of fl 32.50 on the tailoring course from 26 May 1942.

The mayor of Steenwijk requested that Aron Slager, tailor, living at 71 Oosterstraat in Steenwijk be located, detained and brought to trial. He was suspected of having changed his place of residence without the required authorization. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding.
