Henriëtte was the daughter of Jacob and Rika de Winter.

The Mayor of Wisch requested that Henriëtta de Winter-Wolf, without gainful employment, be located, detained and brought to trial. She had been living in Terborg and was suspected of having changed her place of residence without the required authorization. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding.

The author J. Breukelaar has written about the period that Henriëtte Wolf-de Winter and her relatives spent in hiding, in the book Halte Varsseveld (n.p. 2005).
