About Herman Henri de Kadt

Herman Henri de Kadt was a member of the CPN. In 1933, he was forced to leave Belgium because of his communist propaganda. He went to study at the Economic College of Higher Education in Rotterdam.

Herman Henri de Kadt was married. The couple had one child. On 31 May 1940, he was arrested in Rotterdam while taking pictures of German soldiers and asking for their army number. Herman Henri de Kadt was emprisoned in Münster and Bremen. He was killed in Dachau, at the age of 37.
