About Géza Berger

Géza Berger was married on 28 December 1923. He worked as a chemist in Wageningen starting in 1922 and received a doctoral degree from the University of Aachen on 21 January 1925. Géza Berger was dismissed from his position at the Landbouwhogeschool (an agricultural university) as from 1 March 1941 by the Reichskommissar for the occupied Netherlands.

According to the Sterbebücher of Auschwitz Géza Berger died on 21 August 1942. It is possible this date is different from the official day of death as established after the war by the Department of Justice.
