Emanuel Kahn was a son of Salomon Kahn and Sara Sommer. He was married to Mimmi Ostwald (from fashion house Heinemann & Ostwald at the Plaats 17 in The Hague). She died in 1931. They had two children: the here mentioned Alice Erika and a child that survived the war. The family Kahn owned a summer residence on the Klatteweg 1 in The Hague, near the beach of Scheveningen. Emanuel Kahn reached the age of 68.
