Jetta Cohen was a daughther of Hartog Josua Cohen and Boena Zilverberg. She was married in 1920 at first to Levie Rimini, son of Alexander Rimini and Kaatje de Hoop. The couple had three children together: Alexander, Betsie and Hartog. In 1929 Levie Rimini passed away and he was buried at Ouderkerk a.d. Amstel. Jetta Cohen married during the war on 11 June 1941 in Amsterdam again to Joel Bartels who was since 1932 widower of Saartje Cohen. One month later, her husband Joel died a natural death. On 18 July 1941 he was burried in Diemen.
